The Purpose Principle by Julianne Pearson

This past weekend I had the privilege of observing my daughter use her gift of dance at an Easter Program at a local assembly.  Just a few days before, after her portion of the dress rehearsal, I gave her a big hug (as usual) and told her how wonderfully she served her gift.  Without as much as a blink of an eye, she responded…Dancing is therapy!
Because my primary gift is the creative use of words, I am most moved into inspiration through the releasing and receiving of the same.  So, when my daughter released those words…Dancing is therapy...my heart leaped for joy.  Why?  I was overjoyed because for the past few years I have been releasing The Purpose Principle to my family, friends, and pretty much anyone else who would lend me their ear.  To see its fruition manifest through my daughter brought me joy.  Now, it’s your turn!
Let’s take a few moments to bring clarity to the term therapy.  According to The American Heritage® Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, therapy is defined as “a healing power or quality.”  Therefore, anything that possesses a healing power or quality can be considered therapy.  So, when my daughter stated that Dancing is therapy!...in essence she was declaring (openly announcing) that dancing (purpose) has curative power, allowing her to experience a greater degree of personal freedom from the pains and wounds of her past and the frustrating conditions of her present.

Channel Your Damaged Emotions through Purpose!

Therefore, The Purpose Principle is when we choose to channel our damaged emotions through purpose; so that they no longer contaminate us and ultimately we are empowered to defeat the enemy of our souls (mind, emotions, and will).  Unfortunately, too many remain ignorant (unknowledgeable) to the purpose for which they were earthed into time and therefore remain open prey to those infectious contaminants that cause mental and eventually physical disorders.  When we take the time to re-discover the reason (purpose) for having the breath of life, we will then hold the very key to life.  That is exactly why the enemy of our souls uses every single trick in his book to keep us blind to the Truth of “who we were” in the Mind of God before we were earthed into time.  For when we become awakened to that Truth, we will possess one of the greatest weapons against his diabolical plots, plans, and schemes – PURPOSE!
Today I encourage you to re-discover your purpose.  For when purpose is defined EVERYTHING is put in its proper perspective.  Purpose is the divine force that will push you beyond the personal confinements of the past and the restrictions of the present, pulling you into the purpose-full liberating potential of the future.  You truly have not lived until you live your life on purpose!  Why not start today?  For if not now…when?

Baked Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, and French Fries by Julianne Pearson

Did you know that your time on earth is a journey to the Truth of You?  That’s right!  When you were earthed into time, you embarked on a journey to the Truth of you through what I call a Kingdom Rehab Process.  This is the process by which God re-habilitates you back into your original habitation, who you were in His mind before you were earthed into time.  In essence, “who you were” is the authentic expression we are purposed to display while we are here on earth.

Value and Purpose are the Drivers of Life.
Al Pearson

Please understand that purpose determines the process like destination determines the road one must travel.  For example, when we go on any type of journey our destination always determines the roads we must take.   If we were to travel from Texas to Ohio and back to Texas, our route would not be the same as those traveling from Texas to California and back to Texas.  Each journey would require us to travel down different roads all because our destinations were different.
Once again, purpose determines the process like destination determines the road one must travel.  Let’s consider a bag of potatoes.  Say I decide to use one-third of the potatoes for baked potatoes, one-third for mashed potatoes, and the remainder for French fries.    Let’s start with the potatoes that were chosen to be baked.  We would wash the potatoes, wrap them in aluminum foil, put holes in the potato with a fork, and place it in a pre-heated oven for approximately one hour.  How the potatoes are served would be determined by personal preference.  Now, for the potatoes chosen to be mashed, their process would probably be:  washed, peeled, diced, dropped into some boiling hot water, drained, smashed, then milk and butter are added for the creamy texture, and seasoning added to taste.  For some individuals, more butter is all that is needed to top it off, and then for others mashed potatoes cannot be eaten without a spoonful of gravy.  Lastly, those chosen to be French fries would be processed slightly different from the mashed potatoes.  They would probably be:  washed, peeled, sliced, and then finally dropped into some popping hot oil until they float to the top.  Once they were drained, seasoning would be added, and probably served with ketchup.  You see the potatoes all started the same; however, their processes were different simply because they were being prepared for a different purpose.

Embrace your Process for Purpose Sake

Although we do not have a difficult time understanding this process and purpose principle in regards to potatoes or anything else for that matter; most often we have a difficult time applying this very same principle in our individual lives.  The Truth is we all began in the Mind of God and were earthed for a particular purpose.  This means that our individual purpose requires us to endure different processes for the fulfillment of our particular divine assignment.   However when we live in the spirit of comparison, we’ve then chosen to not embrace our own process.  We must come into harmony with the Truth that “who we were” requires us to travel down a different path called destiny in preparation for our place called purpose.
It is only as we embrace our process that we will be empowered with the authority to silence the voice of the enemy when others speak.  We must not allow ourselves to be infected (soulishly contaminated) or affected (soulishly disturbed, frustrated) by what we are required to endure for purpose sake.
It is God’s desire that we are made better and not bitter by our processes.  The Grace of God is intended to make us look the total opposite of what we’ve been through, or for some, what we are currently experiencing.  When we become self-aware that our process is having an adverse affect on “who we were” created to be, negatively altering us because of resentment, anger, frustration, disappointment, discouragement and a host of other soul contaminants, we must allow the Governor-Holy Spirit to assist us to gain control of our emotions (feelings) instead of them controlling us.  The reactions (involuntary personal actions) and responses (voluntary personal actions) to our processes are critical to the fulfillment and effectiveness of accomplishing purpose.   Like Jesus, we must train ourselves (soul – mind, emotions, and will) to come into obedience to the purposes of God for our lives, regardless of what we may have to experience along the necessary path (Luke 24:26 AMP; Hebrews 5:8).
I encouraged you today, set your eyes on the purpose for which you were earthed into time.  As you progress on this journey to the Truth of you, may you be continually enlightened to this Kingdom Truth which illuminates the purpose of the process.  I charge you to refuse being so comfortably miserable with whom you have become that you merely exist, while dying in the process.  Remember, purpose determines process.  Embrace yours today for a change!

NEVER Sit on a Divine Strategy! by Julianne Pearson

At the onset, I thwart the diabolical tactic of the enemy and decree and declare… “NO guilt and NO condemnation!”  The reason it was necessary for me to openly announce and pronounce with the authority God has given me over all the power of the enemy, is because what I’m about to address could be used by the demonic forces of hell as a weapon against you instead of a divine tool for effective living.  So in advance, I’ve set the order of the Kingdom...now read on!

Recently I was speaking with a Sister-Friend and our conversation sparked this revelation…NEVER sit on a Divine Strategy!  Let’s take the time to initially focus on one word that is in this sentence…sit!  According to Webster’s New World Dictionary, one definition for sit is “to rest” which is defined as “absence of motion.”

Therefore, another way to verbalize this revelation is…

At no time whatsoever is it acceptable to remain stationary,
refusing to move when God has released to you a Plan of Action.

Frequently enough, many times when God releases a Plan of Action it doesn’t appear to be at the most convenient times and usually during seasons with less than ideal circumstances.  In my experience, the Plan of Action seemed to come in the midst of the most arduous time which required me to operate at a level of blind faith and total dependency on Him (Proverbs 3:5, 6; Romans 1:17).

Why is it that we too often view God’s Strategies, Plans of Actions, or Instructions as optional?  I believe it’s because during the maturation period of childhood, at times some of our parents gave us the impression that their instructions were optional.  And we have carried this faulty paradigm into our fellowship with God thru Christ Jesus.  However, regardless of what has been, a paradigm shift is in order!

Another reason I believe that we view God’s Strategies, Plans of Action, or Instructions as optional is because we allow the enemy to use our minds to rationalize us out of walking in first time obedience – immediately, completely, without murmuring or talking back.  Most often the strategies do not appear to make much logical sense, if you will.  Sometimes the strategies actually are very simple, and yet they become so difficult to follow due to the mental aerobatics we exercise.  At other times, the divine strategies that are released to us go contrary to the way we think things should be done or opposite to how we have always operated.  It is during those times that we must bring every thought or imagination that tries to elevate itself above what God has directed us into captivity to the obedience of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-6).  And oh, watch out for those “what ifs that subtly rise in our minds, causing us to question the Integrity of God’s Word and the validity of God’s Instruction, giving doubt permission to permeate our thought processes, preventing our progress, causing us to sit on the strategy that is given to lead us to a place of personal freedom and deliverance.

The speed in which you respond can greatly impact the
outcome of an opportunity.
Al Pearson

As I write, I continue to reflect for inner peace at the numerous times God has released strategies, and regardless of how difficult they were to follow, something greater opened up to me because of my obedience.  However, I must be honest with you…I have not always obeyed immediately, completely, without murmuring or talking back.  Unfortunately, I’ve learned some painful lessons when I chose to ignore an instruction that was released through the mode of diction.  Situations, afflictions, and at times seasons of personal destruction quickly woke me up to the Truth that God’s Strategies, Plans of Action, and Instructions are actually being released for my protection and for His Purposes to be released in the earth (Psalm 119:67, 71, 75; Jeremiah 31:18-19).

So my friend, make a commitment to quickly move in accordance with the Divine Strategy that has been released to you.  Regardless of how simple or even how difficult the Divine Instructions might be to execute, there is something that hangs in the spiritual balance, some permanent eternal blessing waiting to be released that may not readily be apparent to you.  Trust God that He sees something you can’t see. He desires for you to be prepared to conquer in ways you could never imagine without His Divine Proactive Prevention.

I release to you what God released to me back in 2005 when I was dragging my feet to follow a Divine Strategy…“The point is, obey now!  Do it now!” Today, let’s remember that sitting in delay will cost us more than moving forward in faith on a Divine Strategy.

Building in the Dirt – Part 3 of 3 by Julianne Pearson

"Preparation is NEVER a Waste of Time!" - Bishop T. D. Jakes

Throughout the week, I have been sharing with you lessons I’ve learned from my various dirt-dwelling experiences.  First, I spoke of the PLANTING process.  We must consider ourselves planted seeds that God, our Farmer, has strategically positioned in the earth for maximum growth.  Every soil condition was divinely selected in order for us to yield a fruit-full harvest.  Additionally, it is also important for us to embrace the Truth that we are seeds with seeds!  Too often we look outside of ourselves for wealth, when in actuality God has already empowered us to prosper from the inside out.
Secondly, I progressed in thought by releasing the importance of the GERMINATION process.  It is time for all of us to capitalize on our dirt-dwelling experiences, gaining all the benefits of cultivation that is necessary as we continue to grow up and out of our circumstantial confinements to a level of personal freedom.  There’s no need to live in the spirit of comparison.  God, our Farmer, knows exactly the amount of time and style of cultivation that is necessary for us to finally be transformed into our authentic “you”!  Believe it or not…our authentic “you” is the worship God has been longing for since He earthed each of us into time.  For when we grow into our authentic “you” and are living re-presentations of that Truth, we are His Imagination of us made a reality.
Now as we proceed in this process of building in the dirt, let’s continue sprouting to breakthrough as we discipline ourselves to…

Appreciate the Building Process to Breakthrough!
If you have been struggling like me, begin to appreciate and embrace your time building in the dirt.  It is our time of preparation.  God promises to do “exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think, according to the power that [works] within us” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV).  May the power within you be quickened to produce wherever you are planted.  Trust me when I say that your chances of being transplanted before you grow in your current soil condition is very unlikely.  Know that the Farmer Himself has scheduled the set time for your exposure and the set time for each harvest of your life.
When we grow to understand our lives are in His Hands, we will continue to pursue destiny REGARDLESS of the conditions we are planted in.  When we tap into the authorized power within us, circumstances and surroundings will be our launching pads instead of our cemetery plots.  Nothing and no one will be able to prevent our growth just like the seed that is surrounded by the earth’s soil and is determined to germinate, sprout, and breakthrough its confining space.  We would never know the potential that lies within a seed without its time in the dirt.  Our dirt-dwelling experiences give God the opportunity to show us our true, authentic potential.  Many of us would remain content in the status quo or the too familiar positions of mediocrity if it were not for the uncomfortable, dirty places of our lives.  Like the seed, it is the soil conditions that push us on, pressing us to produce what we would otherwise not even know existed within.

Like me, some of you must consider yourselves transplanted seeds!
I confess...I am a transplanted seed.  God saw fit to plant me first in one soil condition, allow me to begin germinating and then transplanted me into yet another pile of dirt.  It’s safe to say, my dirt-dwelling experiences seem to be an extended process.  At times, I have to rebuke the urge to live in the spirit of comparison, wondering why someone else’s seeds have been planted, germinated, sprouted, and harvested.  All the while, my season for breakthrough seems to be delayed again and again.
God showed me that my distorted perception of my growth progression had to change.  Maybe I have more to die to or maybe I am a hard seed to crack.  Or just maybe, for the purpose God has placed in my seeds, they must take d-e-e-p root so that when my breakthrough does take place, and I have emerged from my place of hiding into full bloom, I will be able to withstand the weight of the calling and anointing on the harvest that has been produced.
So now, I am hopeful your perspective has been renewed to reflect Truth.  No longer see yourself as just dwelling in the dirt…You are building in the dirt, and the bountiful harvest will be worth the wait!

Building in the Dirt – Part 2 of 3 by Julianne Pearson

Two:  GERMINATION
Each seed has a germination period or the span of time between planting and the beginning stages of development.  Interestingly enough, each seed has its own determined time for germination.  Because farmers know the germination period of the seeds they have planted, they aren’t concerned if there is no evidence of seed growth before the expected time period.  They don’t even live in the spirit of comparison when looking at other farmers’ fields, especially when they have planted a different seed than their neighbor.  Each farmer knows how long it should take the seed to germinate or die, develop, and be transformed into its new state.

Consider yourself a seed germinating!
Listen fellow dirt dwellers, our time in the dirt has been predetermined, divinely orchestrated, and set.  Our dirt dwelling experiences are enhanced when we let go and let God!  God knows how long it is going to take us to die to self, die to our agendas, and die to our plans and preconceived ideas.  God’s desire is for each of us to die to self with a willing spirit to embrace the development stages that transform us into the authentic “you” He established before He said, “Let there be light!”

Three:  SPROUTING TO BREAKTHROUGH
It is during this time that the ability in the seed is given the opportunity to grow in the dirt.  Farmers understand that in order for the seeds to move from germination to the sprouting stage, they must still tend to the cultivating requirements of the seeds.  Some need more water.  Some need less.  Some need tons of sunlight.  Some other seeds need very little exposure.  However, whatever is needed for the seeds to progress in their development, the farmer does what is necessary.  The ultimate purpose is for the seeds to gain enough strength to break through the confinement of the surface with the expectation of reaching its fullest potential.
Consider yourself a seed that is meant to grow and breakthrough where you are planted!
Based upon the revelation I currently possess, I believe this is a very critical phase of our spiritual growth as a seed.  In spite of the numerous counterproductive atmospheric pressures, we are created to grow wherever we are planted.  It is when we activate the empowerment potential to produce and bear fruit in the midst of the most unlikely places (situations, circumstances, and surroundings that don’t encourage harvest) that we emerge from a place of hiding to exposure.  We come from the background to the forefront, from obscurity to notoriety.  Therefore, do not despise your dirty beginnings.
Again, Selah!  Think on these things until…

Building in the Dirt – Part 1 of 3 by Julianne Pearson

Has there even been a time in your life when you felt as if you were making no progress at all?  A time when you felt that regardless of how many steps forward you made something seemed to hold you hostage, hindering your growth and/or pushing you so far back that all of your efforts seemed worthless?  I must confess…those were my exact emotions while driving to the office one day.  Instead of reflecting for inner peace and celebrating where I had come from, I was disappointed, frustrated, and discouraged with how far it seemed I had to go.  I had allowed my view to distort my vision.
Too often, when I set extremely high expectations for myself and my endeavors, the spirit of perfectionism plagues me; and subsequently, when it appears that I am falling short of those expectations, anger and resentment are the fruit of that frustration.  As I sat in the business meeting that day, despondent and dejected, the Holy Spirit spoke to my soul and changed my perception of my progress.  Addressing our team, Al, my husband and business partner, made a statement that caused my spirit to leap.  He said, “We are building in the dirt.
There were so many revelations that accompanied that statement.  I made it person, “I am building in the dirt,” and meditated on those words for the majority of the afternoon.  Let me take some time and share some of the revelations I received with you.  I pray that it encourages you, my fellow dirt dweller…Consider yourself a seed!

One:  PLANTING
When a farmer desires a particular harvest or crop, he/she plants seeds into soil or dirt.  The type of seed determines the time of planting, soil conditions, sunlight exposure, water frequency, and expected time for germination and sprouting to yield the maximum harvest.  It is important for farmers to know the specificity of these requirements so that their efforts will not be in vain.  Without being planted at the proper seasonal time, even the best soil conditions, light exposure, water, and cultivation will still render the seed’s time in the dirt fruitless.
For example, the farmer who desires oranges does not go to Alaska to plant orange seeds with an expectation of a great harvest.  Why?  Because the farmer knows that Alaska’s weather conditions are not conducive for the orange seed’s growth.  Since the farmer desires a fruitful harvest or return on his/her efforts, the farmer plants the seed in the part of the earth that will assist in the growth of every planted seed.

Consider yourself a planted seed!
We are seeds that have been planted in this earth.  God, our Farmer, knows exactly where to plant us in this earth to yield a fruit-full harvest.  The particular sperm that met the specific egg to create you was not an accident.  Therefore, the parents you have and the family you were earthed through was not a mistake.  Furthermore, the neighborhood you grew up in, the high school/college you attend or attended, the boyfriends/girlfriends you had, the ones who left, the person you married, the job you have, the ones you quit or lost…all of this is part of the soil God has allowed you to be planted in for maximum growth of each seed that has been divinely planted in you.  Don’t despise you dirt!  These soil conditions have been prepared for your planting and more importantly for your growth.

Consider yourself a seed with seeds!
It is important for us to understand that God has planted seeds within each of us.  Each seed is a gifting or talent that when cultivated and nurtured will grow to its fullest in Christ Jesus and produce an earth changing Kingdom harvest.  In Deuteronomy 8:18, it states that God has given us koah (power and ability) to gain wealth.
Consider a peach that contains a peach seed, and every peach seed has the koah (power and ability) to produce an orchard of peach trees that will produce a harvest of peaches.  Moreover, the harvested peaches house seeds that have the potential to produce more peach trees and so on.  So where does our wealth or prosperity lay – inside of us in seed form.  It is our responsibility to co-labor with God, our Farmer, to produce and bring forth a harvest in our lives.
Selah!  Think on these things until…
